Discussion:
The ellipse above is plotted at the best fit estimate with Occult of Panopaea. With two well spread chords we can be confident of the path and that it was very close to the predicted line

I think this must be the widest separation of two observers for this year. Only exceeded by some previous transPacific events. -JT
