Discussion:
The circle above is plotted at the expected 111 km diameter of Automedon. With only one chord it is not possible to determine whether John was north or south of the central line of the event.

Comments: The observed one-magnitude drop in light compares
to a predicted drop of three magnitudes.
Evidently, Automedon occulted the slightly brighter component
of a close double. The duplicity isn't seen in GUIDE 8 or Google Sky.
