This zip file contains new World.dat and World.inx files which should replace the corresponding files in the \Program files\OCCULT3\Watts directory. The new files:
• Replace the old coastline for New Zealand with a much more accurate one at higher resolution;
• Fix a gap in the Australian coast line south of Perth;
• Fix up the state borders in the USA;
• Formally remove the old borders of E/W Germany, and N/S Vietnam.

Unzip this file and replace the Hipparcos Index.dat file in the \Program files\OCCULT3\Starcats directory with the new copy.

Unzip this file and replace the DeltaTA.dat file in the \Program files\OCCULT3 directory with the new copy.

About once per year OCCULT users should update their file of asteroid elements. An updated version of ASTORB.DAT is available from Lowell Observatory. Note that the zipped ASTORB file is 18 MB (about 1 hour over a 56K dialup link) and it unzips to a file of about 66 MB. Follow the instructions in OCCULT to update your asteroid elements using ASTORB.DAT.

For those not wishing to download the full file you can download here a much smaller zip file (about 415 kb - contains Asteroid.dat - updated 11 July 2004) which contains most asteroids above about 15 km diameter. Unzip Asteroid.dat and save it to C:\Program Files\OCCULT3\Asteroid\ overwriting the old file.

This is an updated file of observed asteroid occultations. Unzip this file and replace the observations.dat and observations.inx files in the \Program files\OCCULT3\Asteroid directory with the new copies.

This update fixes a few bugs and map display problems. Unzip this file and replace the vbAsteroid.exe file in the \Program files\OCCULT3 directory with the new copy.
