Dave Gault and Tony Barry have both observed occultations by (754) Malabar from locations in western Sydney. The chords are very close together and both observers recorded durations around 5.5 seconds.

Discussion:

The circle above is plotted at the expected 87 km diameter of Malabar. With the chords so close together, it is not possible to determine whether Dave and Tony were east or west of the central line of the event. The circle has been plotted on the observed chord .
