Discussion:

The ellipse above is plotted at the best fit axis ratio as determined by Occult. With 2 chords we can be confident of the path of Philomela and that it was close to the predicted line. The DAMIT 3D model has been overlaid on the measured ellipse and shows reasonable fit and agrees well with the ellipse orientation.
