David Bender occultation - 2009 September 30

Discussion:

The circle above is plotted at 52km diameter which is significantly bigger than the expected 40 km diameter of David Bender. With only one chord it is not possible to determine whether Jonathan was north or south of the central line of the event. However, the much longer than expected chord of about 52 km would suggest that the chord might lie close to the central portion of the asteroid.

The figure below shows the Limovie / Occularc light curve of the occultation.
