Urhixidor occultation - 2007 August 15

Discussion:

The circle above is plotted at the expected 77 km diameter of Urhixidor. With only one chord it is not possible to determine whether Diana was north or south of the central line of the event. However, assuming the duration suggests that the chord might lie within 30km of the central portion of the asteroid.

Comments: Sky clear but some haze due to pollen in the air. Had difficulty judging the separation, partly low magnitude of the minor planet, but cloud creeping up from the East     I was lucky, in 10minutes the sky was clouded right over.
